PAREENA DECOR · HOTEL PROCUREMENT GUIDE
How to request a rattan lighting quotation for a hotel or resort
Pareena Decor · 10 October 2026
To compare quotations clearly, send the same design brief and scope to every supplier. Pareena Decor reviews drawings, reference images and BOQs for made-to-order lighting from its factory in Hang Dong, Chiang Mai.
What should I send for a quotation?
Send a reference image or product code, diameter/width and height, quantity, exact material and finish requirements, installation location, project address and required delivery date. For suspended lighting, also specify the hanging length, electrical scope and ceiling fixing details. A quotation confirms the agreed specification and scope; a catalogue image alone does not.
1. Identify the design and quantities
Include the catalogue code or attach a clear reference image. For a grouped design such as RL-009, state whether the quantity refers to individual shades or complete groups. Mark the number required for each location in the BOQ.
2. Give dimensions and positioning
List diameter or width, overall shade height and suspension length. Include the floor-to-ceiling height, the height above the table or circulation area, and a ceiling plan or elevation when available. These measurements guide design review; final dimensions must be agreed in a drawing.
3. Agree material, colour and weave
Specify natural rattan, bamboo or another requested material rather than assuming the material from the photograph. Show the desired weave density, colour and surface finish. State whether the lamp is indoors, in a sheltered area or exposed to moisture and weather; suitability and material choice must be reviewed for that location.
4. Separate the shade from electrical and installation work
Clarify whether the scope includes the shade only, frame, lamp holder, light source, wiring, ceiling plate, suspension hardware or installation. Specify the requested voltage, dimming requirements and fixing surface. Do not assume an electrical rating, certification or load capacity from the image; agree the required documentation and installation responsibility.
5. Give the delivery location and required date
Send the project name, province or country, destination details and required date. State any site-access limits, island transfer or phased-delivery needs. Production time, packaging, shipping, installation and any applicable tax or export terms must be confirmed in the quotation.
6. Confirm a drawing or sample before production
Agree a dimensioned drawing, material and finish reference, electrical scope and the sample or prototype required by the project. For new or large suspended designs, request a review of the frame, assembly and mounting details. Record changes in the approved specification before production.
7. Put inspection criteria in writing
Agree which items will be checked: overall dimensions, frame alignment, weave consistency, colour against the approved reference, clean edges, assembly and packaging. Electrical tests or site installation checks apply only when included in the agreed scope. Ask which photos or records will be supplied before dispatch.
8. Compare equal scopes
Check the same unit or set quantity, dimensions, materials and finish across suppliers. Compare what is included in electrical components, shipping and installation, and confirm the production schedule and payment terms. A lower price for a shade alone cannot be compared directly with a complete installed fixture.

Questions before ordering
Can I request a quotation without final drawings?
Yes. Send reference images and the information available. Identify missing dimensions or installation details; the team must review these before confirming a final production specification and price.
Does the catalogue code guarantee a fixed size or price?
No. These pages present model references. Size, material, finish, electrical components, quantity and delivery affect the quotation and must be confirmed for the order.
Is a natural woven lamp automatically suitable outdoors?
No. Describe the actual exposure to rain, humidity and sunlight. Material, frame, finish and electrical suitability must be assessed for the installation location.
